Changes to Case Escalations on the Premium Plan

Effective August 1st, 2026

What exactly is changing?

Starting August 1st, the StoreLock team will no longer personally handle case escalations and follow-through for Premium subscribers. Filing and managing takedown cases becomes self-serve on Premium, using the tools built into the app. Hands-on case management — where our team files, escalates across channels, and chases a case to resolution for you — is now part of the Enterprise plan.

What stays the same on Premium?

Everything else. Premium keeps full storefront protection, domain squatter detection, real-time threat alerts, copy protection, IP and country blocking, image monitoring, and in-app abuse report filing. The app still detects impersonation sites and still generates and submits the initial abuse reports when you start a case.

Why is this changing?

Hands-on escalation work — filing across registrars, hosts, registries, and ICANN, and following each case for weeks until a site comes down — has grown well beyond what the Premium price supports. Rather than raise Premium's price for everyone, we've split the offering: Premium stays an affordable self-serve toolkit, and the customers who want cases fully handled can choose the managed Enterprise plan.

I have a case StoreLock is working on right now. What happens to it?

We will finish what we started. Any case already in our hands before August 1st stays with us through resolution, at no charge, regardless of how long it takes.

How do I file a case myself?

From your StoreLock dashboard, open the detected threat (or add a domain you've found yourself), and start an abuse report. The first time you file, you'll be asked to accept the Brand Protection Authorization. The app generates and submits the initial reports, and your case appears in the dashboard where you can track its status. Our step-by-step guide walks through the whole flow: Filing Abuse Reports in StoreLock: A Complete Walkthrough

What if I get stuck or have questions?

Ask us. We're glad to walk you through the steps, explain what a registrar response means, or point you at the right next move on a case. What changes on August 1st is who drives the case — not whether we'll help you understand the process.

What does the Enterprise plan include?

Enterprise is fully managed brand protection: we detect new impersonations of your brand, verify every match daily, file within 24 hours of verification, escalate across every applicable channel in parallel, and confirm when each site comes down. It includes unlimited takedowns with no overage charges, unlimited image monitoring, a dedicated account manager, priority support, and a weekly case summary. It's $399/month with a 3-day free trial, available under Manage Plan in the app.

Do I need to do anything before August 1st?

No action is required. Your plan, price, and app features are unchanged. If you'd like cases handled for you after August 1st, take a look at Enterprise — otherwise, the filing guide is ready whenever your next case is.
